At age 17 the AIGA took me under its wing and adopted me. How was I a teenager skateboarding a curb, guzzling beer, and also at a design conference with Deborah Sussman?

I am going to go ahead and say I was put on this earth to be a graphic designer. I've heard people say crazy things like that but, I'm starting to believe that.
